Illinois Real Estate License Requirements
General Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age or older
- Have graduated from high school or obtained a GED
- Be of good moral character (No felony convictions, no delinquent tax,loans,support payments)
Pre-License Education Requirements:
- Pre-license course at a real estate school approved by the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
- Sixty hours can be taken as self-study but we recommend classroom time.
- Fifteen hours must be taken interactively in a classroom or by webinar.
Offered Course
Offered Course
Successful completion of this course, with a passing final exam score, meets Illinois State requirements, necessary in order to take the State exam. Once a student passes the state exam, they are a licensed real estate agent!
